Quick Delete Duplicate Rows

The Quick Delete Duplicate Rows tool is a streamlined duplicate-row remover for your current selection with minimal options. It provides a fast path to clean your data without the full feature set of the “Find Duplicate Rows” tool.


  1. Select a range Select the range of cells containing the rows you want to clean. This tool works only with your current selection (no sheet or all-sheets scope options).

  2. Open the Quick Delete panel Navigate through the Google Workspace™ menu: Extensions > Text To Table Converter > Mega Tools > Quick Delete Duplicate Rows.

  3. Configure options (optional) The panel offers simple toggles:

    • Keep first occurrence (default: on) - Preserves the first instance of each duplicate row
    • Create backup sheet (default: off) - Creates a backup sheet before deletion
  4. Execute deletion Click the “Execute” button to delete duplicate rows immediately.

  5. View status message A status message shows:

    • Number of rows deleted
    • Backup sheet information (if created)

  • Fast and simple - Streamlined interface for quick data cleaning
  • Current selection only - Works with your selected range (no complex scope options)
  • Safe deletion - Option to keep first occurrence and create backup
  • Immediate execution - No find-first step; deletes duplicates directly

Use Quick Delete Duplicate Rows when:
