Smart Variables

जब generated content का कोई हिस्सा सीधे spreadsheet column से नहीं आना चाहिए, तब Smart Variables use करें।

Smart Variables आपके Mail Merge workflow के साथ save होती हैं। ये Mail Merge & Variables के अंदर Smart Variables section में उपलब्ध हैं। यह panel अभी Google Docs™ और Google Slides™ में दिखता है। Google Sheets™ में Mail Merge workflow available है, लेकिन Smart Variables panel फिलहाल hidden है।

Common uses

• हर generated file में वही company address या legal text insert करें।
• Current date या calculated due date जोड़ें।
• Run शुरू होने से पहले one-time dropdown choice या yes or no answer पूछें।
• Output में current file title या file URL reuse करें।
• Selected sheet columns से AI summary paragraph generate करें।

Available variable types

• Fixed text: हर output में same saved value reuse होती है।
• Fixed image: हर output में same Drive image reuse होती है।
• Current date: चुने गए format में आज की तारीख।
• Calculated date: आज से offset की गई तारीख।
• Current file title: active Doc या Slides का title।
• Current file URL: active Doc या Slides का link।
• Dropdown choice: current run के लिए चुना गया एक option।
• Yes or no clause: run से पहले चुने गए दो saved text blocks में से एक।
• AI report paragraph: selected columns और आपके prompt से generated AI text।

Smart Variable जोड़ें

1. Docs या Slides में Mail Merge & Variables खोलें।
2. Smart Variables section expand करें।
3. नई variable जोड़ें और variable type चुनें।
4. Variable name दर्ज करें और type-specific fields भरें।
5. Variable save करें।
6. Generated tag copy करें, जैसे {$CompanyAddress} या {$IssueDate}।
7. उस tag को अपनी Docs या Slides template में paste करें।
8. Preview run करके resolved value check करें।

Copy और Apply actions

• Copy literal tag copy करता है, जैसे {$CompanyAddress}।
• Apply active file में variable को तुरंत resolve करता है, ताकि आप output जल्दी test कर सकें।
• Docs: text variables और image insertion support करता है।
• Slides: text variables support करता है।
• Sheets: अभी Smart Variable Apply actions show नहीं करता।

टिप्पणी

Cursor position पर direct Smart Variable tag insertion अभी केवल Docs में available है। Smart Variables के लिए image insertion भी अभी सिर्फ Docs में available है।

AI report paragraphs के लिए notes

• पहले Mail Merge source spreadsheet select करें।
• वह sheet और columns चुनें जिन्हें AI use करेगी।
• जिस paragraph की जरूरत है, उसके लिए छोटा prompt लिखें।
• Full run से पहले preview generate करें ताकि tone, length, और structure check कर सकें।
